OUR STORY
We’re a local two family business, based in Shelby Township and Canton Michigan. Our families are dedicated to improving communities and to helping our clients achieve success by relieving them from a bad financial situation or sometimes improving upon a good one.
Homes Redeveloped, LLC was founded by high school friends, Kyle Gibson and Don DiCicco. Don and Kyle were born and raised in Metro Detroit Michigan, they know the cities and surrounding areas very well. They have always enjoyed real estate, helping others out, and improving the lives of the people around them within the communities they live in. Don had already stated his own real estate company as a hobby (outside of his day job as an IT Security Manager) of buying houses, renovating them himself, and finding loving families to occupy them. Kyle was managing the daily operations of his online global e-commerce clothing stores he had developed as a hobby while working as a Finance/IT Manager for one of the big three automotive manufacturers.
After many months of discussions, they saw an opportunity to collaborate together, utilizing the best of both of their skillsets in information technology, finance, real estate, investing, sales, and turn them into a company called Homes Redeveloped.
The joy Kyle and Don get by helping others and improving the surrounding communities is shown in their body of work and their passion for building relationships. This is not just a job, but truly a dream come true that harnesses their enjoyments in life.
CO-FOUNDER: KYLE GIBSON
Kyle is a Senior-level professional with 25+ years of exceptional business and finance acumen with a broad range of leadership roles within corporate finance, accounting, capital planning, budgeting, operations, logistics, procurement, project management, strategic development, information systems, and sales.
In 2009, while working as a Finance/IT Manger for one of the Big 3 automakers, Kyle created an e-commerce clothing business that has now generated over $4-million in sales and more than 30,000 customers globally. His online business has 20K+, 5-star positive customer service satisfaction ratings which serves as testament to his commitment of treating customers as family. Since creating Homes Redeveloped, LLC with Don, he has delegated the daily operations of his e-commerce stores so he can focus his attention to their business partnership.
Academic background including Master of Science in Information Management and Communication in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Kyle’s drive and ambition come from the rock in his family, his wife Stephanie. Stephanie is a full-time nurse manager at a local hospital managing staff and saving lives on a daily basis. His most precious joys are his two loving daughters Sophie, Stella and 2 dogs April and May.
CO-FOUNDER: DON DICICCO
After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration where he studied Finance, Accounting, and Management Information Systems, Don began his career in the booming IT industry. After several years of working with various technologies and managing small projects, he had climbed his way up to some leadership positions and an IT Director position. Don has led large teams of technicians, managers, vendors, and independent contractors on large-scale technology implementations. He has directed dozens of projects and managed multi-million-dollar budgets.
In the real estate space, Don has been directly involved in buying, renovating, and selling residential properties, managing large residential renovation projects, and has owned residential rental property. Don is pursuing his Michigan Builder License which will provide opportunities with land development, new construction projects, and large-scale renovations, and also decrease our renovation costs thus increasing profits.
In his off time, Don enjoys playing competitive sports – hockey, basketball, softball, and golf to name a few. He spends a lot of time with his two daughters who also play sports and are now entering high school and college. Don has a passion for continuous personal growth and development through audio books, seminars, workshops, and more.
